Reconciliation meet between AMFA and MSLPTF cancelled

A meeting scheduled today between All Manipur Football Association and Manipur State League Participating Teams' Forum (MSLPTF) as per a ruling issued by a division bench of the High Court of Manipur was cancelled as the number of participants was short of the requisite quorum.
Mention may be made that a division bench of the High Court of Manipur on May 24 ordered to constitute a committee which also includes members from both AMFA and MSLPTF after the two parties sought legal aids in connection with the 12th Manipur State League 2017 which was suspended midway and could not completed so far.
The resolutions drawn from today's meeting was to be submitted to the High Court of Manipur on June 4 .
A source informed that efforts are underway to call the meeting again on June 4.The mediation and reconciliation committee comprises of Justice Maibam Binoykumar, retd judge; Gunabir Lourembam, former international football player; Soibam Akendra, former referee and coach, and Director Youth Affairs and Sports as mediators.
The committee also includes AMFA president and two representatives; K Chungminthang, a representative of FC Zalen; Lanchandra Singh, a representative of Anouba Imagi Mangal; Konsam Dineshkumar, a representative of Young Physique Union; Y Ranjit, a representative of Nambul Mapal Athletic and Cultural Organisation; Kh Macjes, a representative of DM RAO; Kh Bankimchandra, a representative of North Imphal Sporting Association; Ngamninglen Haopok, a representative of Muvanlai Athletics; L Sarat, a representative of Tiddim Road Athletic Association and Dr Kabrambam Imoton Singh, a representative of Sagolband United.
The Court also authorized the committee headed by Justice Maibam Binoykumar to take resolutions regarding the issue.
