Imphal, August 31 2016: The final match of the Haipou Jadonang Malangmei football and volleyball tournament was held on Aug 29 at Khangsillung Hr Sec school ground, Gaidimjang, Khoupum valley under the aegis of Haipou Jadonang Malangmei Memorial Committee.

A fitting tribute was paid to Haipou Jadonang on the occasion, according to a statement.

In the football final match, Gaidimjang -I beat Gaidimjang-II by a margin of three goals to two.

In the volleyball match, Satudai beat Gaidimjang.

Dingamlung Gangmei, ADM/CEO, Ukhrul; KG Daigong Gangmei, SDO/BDO Khoupum; SK Mangang, president AMMUDO; Maj Sourabh Chaudhury, 2/5 GR Khoupum and Kangamthai Gangmei, chairman, KAVAC were the dignitaries attending the closing function.
