6th Lamlai Andro Soccer : Sekta-A, CHYUC, Pungdongbam FC win; 2-2 draw for ASSA and Sekta-B

Imphal, March 30 2019: Sekta-A; CHYUC, Chalou and Pungdongbam FC emerged victorious while ASSA held Sekta-B 2-2 in today's matches of the ongoing 6th Lamlai Andro Kendra Village Wise Football Tournament 2019 organised by Bright Star Union, Nongpok Kakching at Ibudhou Khamlangba ground.

The first match of the day witnessed CHYUC seal a 3-1 win against Sopleng FC through goals scored by L Ngouba (8'), Ng Englan (28') and A Maingou (34') .

The lone goal of the losing side was scored by Martho in the 29th minute of the match.

Poreiton shone in the second match as he scored a trebble to help Pungdongbam FC carved out a 6-4 win against NYC-A, Nongdam in a high scoring encounter.

Poreithon put his team ahead early in the 4th minute with a well taken shot before doubling the lead four minutes latter.

His team mate Telheiba then extended the lead to 3-0 with a superb strike in thee 14th minutes but S Roney of NYC-A scored a hattrick (22', 26', 29') to help his team stage a stunning recovery and level the score at 3-3 .

Wason then scored a fine goal in the 30th minute and helped Pungdongbam FC regained the lead but the lead was short-lived as L Boiton managed to draw level the 32nd minute.

Pungdongbam FC returned once again with Telheiba breaking the deadlock in the 36th minute before Poreiton found his third in the 39th minute and made it 6-4 .

Elsewhere in the third encounter, Y Chitaranjan (22') and L Robinson (31') scored to earn Sekta-A a 2-1 win against YSWC, Sabungkhok.

Raju scored the only goal of the Sabungkhok side in the 36th minute of the match.

The fourth match of the day played between ASSA, Nongpok Sanjenbam and Sekta-B ended in a 2-2 .

M Taibanganba and M Rozer scored for ASSA in the 40th and the 41st minute while Sh Bijen (16'), N Johnson (4') scored for the Sekta side.

Sekta B will face MYC in a Group G league match tomorrow at 7 am while Lamlai FC will play NYC-A in a Group F league match latter at 8.15 am .
