Imphal, December 29 2020: 59 Mountain Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division conducted Operation Sadbhavana in memory of Late Maj Bob Khating and presented sports kits, stationery items and scholarships at a ceremony organised at Brilliance School, Malom.

Maj Gen VT Mathew, GOC Red Shield Division felicitated the achievers including 24 students and 14 sports persons from various districts of the State.

The ceremony was also attended by Lt Gen (Retd) KH Singh and Lt Gen (Retd) LN Singh who shared their pearls of wisdom with the young minds.

Lt Gen (Retd) KH Singh also presented signed copies of his newly released book 'Making of a General' to three students of Sainik School, Imphal who are about to join the Indian Armed Forces.

The scholarship and stationery/sports items under the overall budget of Maj Bob Khating Scholarship Project worth Rs 15,00,000/- were distributed amongst the recipients.
