Bpr Super Divn League : NCYWO draw 3-3 with CYC, TYDA beat TRUGPU 1-0

Imphal, September 29 2019: Rohongson double for NCYWO, Nungshai Chiru went in vain as CYC, Chinikon staged a second half comeback to salvage a 3-3 draw while TYDA, Toubul beat TRUGPU, Nambol 1-0 in today's matches of the 3rd L Itomcha Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament which is underway at Mini Stadium Bishnupur under the supervision of DSA Bishnupur.

NCYWO started the game on a positive note as Johnson drew first blood in the 5th minute but Panmeigideon helped CYC pull level within three minutes before Rohongson opened up his scoring in the 31st minute to make it 2-1 till the break.

CYC up the ante as the match resumed and equalised the scoreline again in the 43rd minute when Johny Phaomei found the back of the net but Rohongson rose for his second in the 48th minute and helped NCYWO regain the lead.

CYC were rewarded for the hard work when Gaichui went deep into the NCYWO territory and hit the leveller a minute past the hour mark.

The two teams toiled hard to find the lead in the latter part of the game and had numerous chances but lack of finishing touch forced the two teams to share the spoils.

In the second match of the day, P Panmeilan's goal in the 57th minute ensured TYDA beat TRUGPU, Nambol 1-0 .

This is the second win for TYDA at the tournament having beaten CYC 3-0 in the opening match before they played out a 1-1 draw with NCYWO in the second match.

KPFC will meet NCYWO in the next match on October 1 at 1 pm while SAI-SAG will meet TRUGPU latter at 3 pm .
