Imphal, August 28 2022: LYLL Leimaram and UFC Bishnupur tied at the inaugural match of the 1st L Itomcha Singh Memorial 1st Division Football League 2022-23 today at Bishnupur mini-stadium.

The inaugural match of the tournament organised by DSA Bishnupur was played in presence of Asem Babu Singh, L Naba Singh (president DSA Bishnupur) and Ch Ibopishak Singh (ex-president DSA Bishnupur) as presidium members.

After a goalless first half, LYLL's N Remson scored a goal in the 52nd minute of the game to take the lead.

The lead however didn't last long as UFC's Panmei Donny netted an equalizer in the 55th minute of the game to level the score.
