Landan lifts Mr Manipur title

Imphal, November 27 2011:
N Landan of Thoubal District Body Building and Fitness Association (TDBBFA) has bagged the title of Mr Manipur, 2011 in the competition held today at Asha Hall, North AOC Imphal.
A Premchand of Super Gym bagged the title of Masters Mr Manipur while the title of Junior Mar Manipur was secured by T Lalngamba Meetei of YBB Gym.
Landan bagged the title after winning gold medal in the seniors' 70 kg category.
In the category, Kh Hemanta and S Brojendro of MPSC bagged the silver and bronze medals respectively.
In senior' 75 kg category, S Premkumar of YBB Gym won the gold medal.
The silver and bronze medals were won by W Kiran and L Ojitkumar of MPSC respectively.
In seniors' 80 kg and above N Khogendrajit of YBB Gym secured the gold medal while the silver and bronze were won by Ak Kenar of MPSC and Th Devataji of Royal Gym.
In Masters' 70 kg and below category, L Kiran of CAU, Md Mutibur Rahman of Super Gym and K Johny Tabari of PAMKHL won the gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
A Premchand who bagged the overall champion's title won gold medal in 70 kg and above while S Somendro of LPPC and N Khelen of Royal Gym bagged the silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Masters' 50 years and above category Th Mohendro of Super Gym won gold.
The silver medal was won by H Gyaneshwar of MPSC and the the bronze by his teammate T Ibohal.
T Lalngamba of YBB Gym who bagged the Junior Mr Manipur title won gold medal in Juniors' 75 kg and above while N Suraj of YBB Gym and Hijam Tony of Super Gym won silver and bronze respectively.
In 75 kg category, RK Bikram of YBB Gym won gold.
The silver and bronze medals were won by L Inaotomba of YBB Gym and Kh Ibotomba of CHC respectively.
In 70 kg category, N Santosh of YBB Gym won gold medal while the silver and bronze were won by Th Somorjit of YBB Gym and K Romesh of Super Gym respectively.
Kh Prafullo of YBB Gym won gold medal in juniors' 65 kg category.
Sh Sanjoi of TDBBFA and Huidrom David of Royal Gym won the silver and bronze medals respectively.
P Johnson of Royal Gym won gold medal in 60 kg category while Y Chinglen of Health Studio and T Premjit of YPSIM Gym won silver and bronze respectively.
The gold medal for 55 kg category was won by S Siroy of TDBBFA Gym.
The Silver and bronze were won by L Lanchenba of Super Gym and T Nandakumar of YBB Gym respectively.
In women fitness contest L Baby Chanu of YPISM won gold medal in below 160 cm category while her teammates K Monarita and N Rolina won the silver and broze medals respectively.
K Rebita of Royal Gym won the gold in women's 160 cm and above category.
In physically challenged category I Ranjit of YPISM and P Premkumar of YBB Gym won the gold and silver respectively.
YBB Gym, Pishum won the Overall Team Champion's title while the overall runners up went to TDBBFA, Kakching.
The award for Best Coach was conferred to I Bipin of YBB Gym.
Deputy Speaker, Th Lokeshwar and President All Manipur Body Building and Fitness Association (AMBBA) graced the function as Chief Guest and President respectively.
Health and Family Welfare Minister L Jayantakumar, Vice President State Youth Congress L Sushindro and social worker Thamar Karam also attended the function as Guests of Honour.
