Kishan, Sanayaima score as FC Lamjao edge past ASSA 4-2 in 2nd SDAU Trophy

Imphal, June 25 2019: FC Lamjao rode on braces by S Sanayaima and L Kishan to beat ASSA, Sangaiyumpham by 4-2 goals today in a Group G league match of the ongoing 2nd SDAU Trophy Soccer Tournament.

S Sanayaima and Kishan netted one goal each respectively in the 12th and the 21st minute to hand FC Lamjao a 2-0 lead in the first half as ASSA failed to convert their chances.

FC Lamjao's S Sanayaima had his second in the 25th minute to give his team a commanding 3-0 lead before Md Asif Khan of ASSA pulled back a single three minutes latter.

FC Lamjao then regained the three goal lead when L Kishan also completed his double in the 37th minute.

ASSA's Md Asif Khan also had his second in the 42nd minute and helped reduce the gap by 2 goals but it was too late for the team to return by then.

Eventually FC Lamjao earned full points with 4-2 finish.

FC Lamjao vs AIFF, Irengband match on June 29 will decide the group winners who will moved into quarter finals.

Meanwhile, SD Enterprise got a walk over as Sanjenbam FC did not turn up for a Group D league match.
