Iphuthou Pureiromba Cup : OFA ease to 4-1 win against Tomba FC

Imphal, April 24 2019: Milan scored four goals alone to hand OFA, Pungdongbam a convincing 4-1 win against Tomba FC, Leimakhong Mapal in a Group B league match of the Iputhou Pureiromba Cup jointly organised by Easter Lion Club, Nongada and Easter Unique Club, Kameng.

OFA clinched the lead early in the 6th minute with Milan finding the net before pumping in 3 more goals in the 23rd, 35th and the 46th minute of the match to make it 4-0 past the Leimakhong Mapal side.

Tomba FC however grabbed a consolation goal through Th Ngouthoi in the 47th minute of the match and made it 1-4 at the end.

Th Ngouthoi was yellow carded in the 14th minute of the match.

Meanwhile in another Group B league match played earlier, Sekta-B earned a 2-0 win against NPYC, Chana.

Bhim got the opener in the 24th minute of the after the two sides exchanged some fine runs and it was Heingou who doubled the lead in the 34th minute of the match.

Sekta-B then held their lead to till the final whistle.

Ksh Chaoba (20') of NPYC and Robinson (23') were yellow carded for the unsporting behaviours by the referee.
