Imphal, February 24 2014 : MPSC-A carved out a convincing win over their sister team MPSC-C in the ongoing 30th State Level Polo Tournmanent at Mapal Kangjeibung today by 7 goals to 3.In the first match of the day, the MPSC-A team went ahead scoring twice through M Jawan and T Pradeepkumar while M Vivekananda scored for the C team in the first chukker.

The police A team however raced to a three goal lead in the 2nd chukker when Abung Khuman sounded the board twice in quick succession with the C team unable to reply.

In the third chukker too the A team scored twice through T Pradeepkumar and H Abung Khuman while S Viking of the other team scored once.

M Vivekananda of MPSC -C scored in the fourth chukker with the A team unable to reply, but it was more than enough for the A team to emerge convincing winners.

In the second match, Nambul Mapal PC overcame Easter Students' Club by a margin of 3 goals to 2 in a closely fought match.
