Manipur emerges champions in Natl Thang-Ta C'ships

Imphal, April 23 2013: Manipur team emerged Overall Team Champions in the 2nd Federation Cup Thang-Ta Championships 2013 held at Indoor Stadium, Kala Bhawan, Lubi Circular Road, Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

Manipur team got Team Champion with 56 Golds, 8 Silvers and 6 Bronze medals.

Jammu & kashmir got Team Runner by winning 21 Golds, 13 Silvers and 4 Bronze medals.

Jharkhand Thang-Ta Association got 2nd Runner up after winning 5 Golds, 13 Silvers and 8 Bronze medals.

Mention may be made that all the medalist players of the championships will represent India in the 2nd Asian Thang-Ta Championship, 1st Asian Youth Thang-Ta Championship & 1st Asian Sub-Jr Thang-Ta Championship 2013 which will be held at Indoor Stadium, Kala Bhawan, Lubi Circular Road, Dhanbad, Jharkhand later.
