K Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League kicks off

Kangpokpi, November 22 2021: The 8th edition of K Hangshing MemorialSadar Hills Super Division Football League 2021 kicked off on Monday at Brig M Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi town.

The league organised by Sadar Hills District Sports Association Manipur and sponsored by late K Hangshing's family was opened by Fr Rev Janggin Chongloi, secretary Kangpokpi Town Churches Fellowship, in the presence of various civil society organisation leaders of the district.

A condolence service was also conducted to pay tribute to late Hegin Singsit, former secretary of Sadar Hills District Sports Association Manipur, who had expired recently.

Kuki Sporting Club (KSC) had an easy 2-0 win over Kangpokpi Youth Union (KYU) in the opening match of the league.

Ginminthang (18th) and Sehgouhao (87th) were the scorers for KSC.

In the second match, Football For Change (F4C) defeated FC Zalen 2-1 .

R Letkhotinchon (lOth-P) and Abel Sonson Jachi (32nd) scored for Football For Change.

On Tuesday, Saikotjang Youth Club will play Kangpokpi Youth Union in the first match while FC Zalen meet KSC in the second match.
