L Rajbapu Memorial Volleyball Tourney BAKHE sets up summit clash with YMDO

Imphal, March 21 2018: BAKHE, Sanakeithel got better of SDC-A, Samurou by 3-1 sets in the first semi final of the 5th L Rajbapu Sharma Memorial State Level Junior Boy's Cash Prize Volleyball Tournament 2018 being organised by Young Men Development Organisation, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Leikai, Heirangoithong while hosts YMDO overwhelmed NYVA Naorem 3-0 to set up final clash with BAKHE.

In the first semi final match of the tournament, BAKHE, Lamphel Sana Keithel took over the first set 25-9 but lost the second set 25-28 to tie the score.

BAKHE came back with 25-22 score in the third set and took the lead.

The deciding set was not much tough and the winning side comfortably beat the Samurou side 25-16 and booked their place in the final.

The second semi-final match was a very one sided affair as hosts YMDO easily posted a 25-21, 25-15, 25-10 win over NYVA to meet BAKHE in the final on March 22 .

The closing ceremony of the volleyball tournament will be attended by RK Imo, MLA Sagolband AC, RK Anand, former MLA, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, RK Taruni, Adhyaksha, Imphal West, RK Somorendro Singh, Actor, Samukcham Nandakumar, All Manipur Volleyball Association and Dr Yumnam Tomba Singh, chairman volleyball organising committee, YMDO as dignitaries.
