WALYDA thrash IYA, UCC beat KFC in Kakching 2nd Div League

Imphal, July 20 2024: WALYDA handed out a 7-0 thrashing to IYA as UCC outscored KFC 2-1 in the Kakching Second Division Football League 2024 on Saturday.

M Bishan netted thrice in WALYDA's 7-0 demolition on IYA.

Bishan kickstarted the WALYDA's onslaught with a 7th-minute opener, and A Nailing upped the ante just one minute later before M Dayananda made it 3-0 in the 30th minute.

Then an own goal by S Tomba in the 36th minute stretched WALYDA's lead to 4-0 .

Moments later, Bishan scored his second and team's fifth goal as H Sailaingamba found their sixth in the 46th minute before Bishan completed his treble in the 56th minute to propel their team to an emphatic win.

UCC, meanwhile, came from behind to beat KFC 2-1 .

N Druba put KFC in front in the 15th minute, but Ksh Renedy levelled the score for UCC in the 46th minute, before N Vero converted towards the end of the game to help UCC emerge the victors.
