FC Kagalung edge past PSG in P Tilotama Memorial Trophy

Jiribam, January 15 2019: FC Kagalung, New Alipur edged past PSG, Kalinagar by 3-2 goals in an almost evenly matched league match of the 16th District Level 2nd Division Football League Tournament 2018 for P Tilotama Memorial Trophy being organised by All Jiribam Sports Association (AJSA) at Jiribam Higher Secondary Playground since December 29, 2018 .

FC Kagalung made a good start to the game leading the first half 2-1 through goals coming from Mamang in the 22nd minute and Asui in the 26th minute.

Lenminthang scored for the PSG in this half in the 39m minute.

The second half saw an intense game from both sides as FC Kagalung were looking to stretch their lead while PSG were working hard to draw level.

FC Kagalung however had the upperhand lately in the 66th minute when Mimin found the net and extended the lead to 3-1 .

The same minute saw PSG, Kalinagar pulled back a goal through Joseph to make it 2-3 but failed to find the equaliser in the remainder of the game as FC Kagalung New Alipur side managed to keep all threats at bay and held their lead till the final whistle and went home with full points.

FC Kagalung will face KSC, Raniveng in the next league match on January 17 .
