DMC Science win DMU Inter College Men's Kho-Kho tourney

Imphal, November 12 2024: Dhanamanjuri College of Science (DMC Science) emerged champions of the Dhanamanjuri University (DMU) Inter College Men's Kho-Kho Tournament hosted by Dhanamanjuri College of Arts.

DMC Science defeated DMU by 26-16 margin in the title clash staged this afternoon to bag the top honour of the four-team tournament.

Earlier in the day, DMC Science finished league stage winners with a 32-18 win over DMC Arts before DMU finished league runners up with a walkover win against DMC Commerce in the final league round match.

With the results, DMC Science and DMU qualified for the final.

DMC Science's Chandrathoi Karam and Ld Chistopher were also adjudged best player and attacker of the tournament as Khundongbam Sanathoi of DMU emerged best defender.

The winners and runners up teams were feted with trophies and medals during the valedictory function staged this afternoon in the presence of T Ranjit, Principal, DM Arts; Dr Th Nilachandra, HOD, Department of Mathematics, DMC Arts and Dr Yensembam Kunjabihari, president Teachers' Forum DMCA as dignitaries.
