State referee to attend Project Future India's 2nd Exposure

A CAT-3 referee Thumli Joyshing Monsang of Manipur from Chandel district has been selected to participate in the 2nd Exposure Training of Referees under the Project Future India Programme of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to be held from February 16 to 20 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Joyshing is the only referee of the State to be selected for the programme in a test conducted by AIFF in the 2015 based on Laws of the Game of Football, fitness test, conduct of matches, computer and IT skills, possession of foreign passports etc.
He had also attended the 1st Exposure Training held in 2015 in Pondicherry, said a press release issued by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA).
Project Future India is a programme taken up by the All India Football Federation in order to identify talents, groom and train them specially to be worthy referees in future, added the statement.
