15th Sadar Hills ADC Trophy begins

Kangpokpi, December 11 2015 : The 15th edition of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Trophy, 2015 kicked off today at Brig Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi.

The inaugural ceremony of the tournament was attended by Thangjakam Misao, Vice Chairman, ADC Sadar Hills as the chief guest while Seikhomang Khongsai, president, Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills and Kaikhosei Lhouvum, Executive Member, ADC Sadar Hills were the guest of honour and functional president respectively.

Vikas Basnet, Executive Member, and other members of ADC Sadar Hills including S Dama Vaiphei, Sagar Gewali and H Khangba attended the function apart from staff of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council including Lhingkhonei Lotzem, Addl CEO.

Various leaders of CSOs within Sadar Hills like Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, KSO Sadar Hills, TSA Sadar Hills, Kangpokpi Town Committee, KWWU and KYU were also present.

In the opening match, Khanglai Junior FC defeated Kholjang Youth Club 3-2.Songpu Singsit, Seivanglen and Nehboithang Haokip scored for Khanglai Jr FC in the 8th, 47th and 53rd minute respectively while Daniel and Laiginglen scored for Kholjang YC in the 25th and 47th minute respectively.
