37th Junior National Badminton Championships commences

Imphal, November 10 2012: The 37th Junior National Badminton Championships 2012 organised by the Manipur Badminton Association under the aegis of Badminton Association of India (BAI) has commenced today at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.

In the qualifying round matches played today, L Unilkumar has qualified for the championships while his compatriot L Dickson got ousted in U-17 Boys' Singles category.

In Under 17 Boys' Doubles category, the pair of M Meiraba Luwang and O Aimson got bye in the first round.

They will play the second round tomorrow.

Main draw of the championships will begin from November 14 and the championship will conclude on November 18.Players from 32 different units will be participating in the championships.
