Citizens� Club, YDC (P) win in IE 1st Div League

Imphal, August 10, 2012: Citizens� Club and YDC (P) beat their goalless opponents to win today�s matches of the ongoing M Ibobi Memorial Imphal East District First Division Football League organised by Imphal East District Football Association (IEDFA) at Football Practice Ground, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

In the first match, Citizens� Club beat DOAK 2-0 to win after locking horns in a tough fight.

The first goal of Citizens� Club was scored by S Kishan in the 6th minute while the second goal was an own goal of DOAK which was scored by Suraj in the 26th minute of the match.

Meanwhile, the second match was won by YDC (P) after defeating NESU 3-0. The first half of the match witnessed some tough fights between the two team with each of them trying to dominate their rivals.

The first half ended in a goalless draw.

However in the second match, YDC (P) changed their tactics and played with renewed vigour.

On the other hand, NESU players looked exhausted and were unable to defend themselves well.

Taking the advantage, Dhanaraj scored all the three goals of YDC (P) ion the 65th, 72nd and 76th minutes of the match and earned himself a hat trick.
