A Iboton U-15 Boys Football : KRFC edge past YWO 3-2

Imphal, January 09 2019: KRFC pulled off a hard fought 3-2 win against YWO while UKCCL were held to a 1-1 draw by UFA in today's league matches of the 4th edition of A Iboton Memorial Under-15 Boys Football League 2019 which is underway at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur under the supervision of District Sports Association, Bishnupur since January 7 .

Abung gave YWO a flying start with a goal in the 21 st minute but L Paul and M Adam scored one goal each in the 30th and the 32nd minute to hand KRFC a 2-1 lead at the break.

Rakesh of YWO pulled back a goal in the 36th minute and drew level but his effort went in vain as L Paul came up with another fine shot and earned his team the 3-2 lead which went undisturbed till the final whistle.

In another match of the day, UKCCL and UFA shared the spoils as the game ended in a 1-1 draw after a barren first half.

O Manao of UKCCL struck the opener in the 34th minute but N Robin of UFA replied back with the equaliser 6 minutes latter to help his team salvage a point as former team were relentless in their attempts in the latter part of the game but ended up without any positive result.
