India finish second in World Body Building and Physique C'ship

Imphal, October 08 2017:
Team India finished overall second in the World Body Building And Physique Championship 2017 held in Mongolia.
India bagged 5 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals to secure the runners-up spot .
Gold medallist in the championship are- Dinesh, Rishikanta and Boby Singh (Railways) from Manipur, Jayaprakash (Railways) and Mahendra Chauhan from Maharashtra.
Four silver medallist are- Sarita Devi from Manipur, Mittal Singh from Delhi, Rohan Dhuri from Maharashtra and Vinay Pandey (Railways) while six bronze medallists are- Mamota Devi from Delhi, G Srinivas from Andhra Pradesh, Serbo Singh (Railways), Ram Niwas (Railways), Rohit Shetty from Maharashtra and Rehman Hizbur from Delhi .
Indians who managed to finish in the 4th to 5th positions are- Shahid Afridi (Delhi), Indranil Maity (Railways), Rebita Devi (Manipur), S Prasath (Tamil Nadu), Priyam (Punjab) and 6th to 7th positions are- Kanchi Advani (Maharashtra), Savio Chavan (Maharashtra), Paklu Taipodia (Arunachal Pradesh), Ch Indra Singh (Manipur), Hariram (CRPF), Monica Gupta (Jammu and Kashmir) and Vivek Neproy (Karnataka) .
