4th T Subol Memorial Veteran T-20 : Manaobi, Gojendra shine with bat as YWC clinch 9 wicket win

Imphal, January 08 2020: Manaobi's 53-ball 76 and Gojendro's 44-ball 45 in the chase inspired YWC, Langthabal to a huge 9 wicket win against OSCAR, Paona Bazar today in a Group B league match of the 4th T Subol Memorial T-20 Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.

YWC won the toss and led OSCAR to bat first.

OSCAR had a good start to their innings but ended up with 134 run total for all wickets down in 20 overs as Priyobarta and Kumarjit of YWC wreaked havoc across their batting line with superb bowling feats and finished with 4 (hattrick) and 3 wicket hauls respectively.

Ninghor and Mohen amassed 38 and 32 runs respectively for OSCAR before Gogou and Milan managed 16 run each to make it 134 runs at the end of the innings which also saw Premchand and Sashi grab a wicket each.

The chase caught the eyes of everyone as Manaobi had a finest 76 runs knock off 53 balls while Gojendro followed suit with 45 runs contribution to help YWC reach home in 16.4 overs with 9 wickets left to spare.

Devkanta of OSCAR picked up the lone wicket in this innings.

Eventually, Manaobi was adjudged man of the match.
