State Polo Tournament Tentha Polo Club to meet Samadon Ayangba in Junior Boys' final

The second semi final match of the Junior Boys (U-16) State Level Polo Tournament saw Samadon Ayangba-A trounced Paradise Polo 12-1 today to set up summit clash with Tentha Polo Club at Mapal Kangjeibung.
Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club yesterday claimed the title of the 13th Women State Level Polo Tournament by beating K&MM Riding School 6-3.
Today's match between Samadon Ayangba-A and Paradise Polo was almost a one sided affair with the first team taking control of the game from the very beginning.
The first chukker ended 4-1 in favour of the winning team.
Shaolin of Samadon Ayangba-A opened the account followed by 2 goals from Nongpoknganba and one goal from Bikash.
The single goal of Paradise Polo team was scored by Th Boinao.

Samadon Ayangba enjoyed a free hand in the second chukker and Nongpoknganba and Bikash showed off their scoring skills by chipping in 2 goals each to give a 8-1 lead to their team.
Bikash scored 1 goal in the third chukker and extended the lead to 9-1.The last chukker witnessed two goals coming from Jayenta and one from Shaolin making the score read 12-1 in the end.
In the first pre quarter final match of the 34th Men's State Level Polo Tournament played today, Chingkheihunba Polo Club-A hammered Khurai Polo 12-2 to register their place in the last 8 stage.
The first chukker ended 1-1 with goals coming from L Kokeshwar of Chingkheihunba Polo Club and A Churchill of the Khurai side.
Chingkheihunba Polo Club raced ahead in the second chukker to take a 7-2 lead.
A Basanta and Th Kaoba scored two goal each for the winning team followed by one goal each from P Leishemba and Kokeshwar.
Th Nando of Khurai Polo Club managed to score one goal for his team.
Y Suraj added two goals back to back for Chingkheihunba Polo Club while his team mate Kokeshwar came up with a single goal to put ahead their team with a comfortable 10-2 lead.
Despite the huge lead, the onslaught continued and Y Suraj and Kokeshwar pumped in one goal respectively and handed a huge 12-2 victory and eased into quarter final stage.
In the second pre quarter final match, K&MM Riding School-A, Singjamei edged out MPSC-C 5-4 to cruise into the quarter final.
The match ended with the score tied at 4-4 and an extra chukker was played to decide the winners.
Ranjan handed the Singjamei side a 1-0 lead at the end of the first chukker.
Ranjan and S Dollar added one goal each for their team while Kh Dinesh and I Khaba of MPSC-C scored one goal each to make the score 3-2 .
L Dhaneshwar struck one goal for K&MM Riding School in the fourth chukker while S Arun and S Viking added one goal each in the third and the fourth chukker to level the score at 4-4 .
The winning goal for the Singjamei side was scored by L Dhaneswar during the additional chukker.
X Polo Club also marked their entry into the last 8 stage by overwhelming Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club 10-0 today.
