Imphal, November 06 2012: The 16th Sub Junior, 17th Junior & 18th Senior State Level Weightlifting Championships 2012 organised by the Manipur Weightlifting Association has concluded today at SAI SAG Hall, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

As the championships concluded today, SAI (I) and THAU jointly won the overall champion's title in Men's category.

Both the teams earned 106 points each.

While in the women's category, SAI (I) won the overall champion's title and the runner up's title was won by SAI (U).

SAI (I) earned 109 points while SAI (U) earned 98 points.

M Purnima (48 kg) who lifted 133 kg in total was declared Best Woman Lifter.

The title for Best Man Lifter was adjusted to Th Somokanta of THAU (77 kg).

He lifted 252 kg in total.
