Manipur clinch 6 more medals at NSG Thang-Ta

Imphal, January 05 2020:
Manipur's medal count at the 65th National School Games U-14, U-17 and U-17 Thang-Ta event reached 10 on the third day as the day saw State athletes bag 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
N Jameson clinched the first gold medal of the day in the U-14 boys 52 kg category while the other gold medal was fetched by Ph Bishorjit Meitei in the 56 kg category.
The athletes who won silver medals on day 3 were, S Divas in the 40 kg event and L Khuraingakpa in the 56 kg category.
N Napolean on the other hand bagged a bronze medal in the 44 kg category before S Romesh won another in the 48 kg category.
S Malemnganbi was the first to open gold medal tally for the State earlier in the U-14 girls' 53 kg event while Linthoi (45 kg), Tina Thokchom (49 kg) and S Millionaire (U-14 boy's 37 kg) had earned silver medals.
The games being conducted under the supervision of School Games Federation of India since January 3 in Delhi, will continue till January 9 .
