Manipur University announces Yoga teams for All India Inter University Tournament

Imphal, December 04 2024: Department of Sports, Manipur University has announced the men and women's teams who will be representing the university at the All India Inter University Yoga Tournament, 2024-25 to be hosted by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar from December24to28.The players who were announced are as follows.

Women
Traditional individual: Sh Babyrose of Standard College.

Traditional team: Muidou Kanshouwa of NIELIT, M Roshita of NB College, Kenzoiyile C Terieng of NIELIT, A Susmila of Imphal College, N Alka Chanu of NIELIT, M Kamala of NB College.

Rhythmic Yogasana: Jenifer Thongam of TS Paul MW College.

Men
Traditional individual: Y Roshan of Kha Manipur College.

Traditional team: L Anilkumar of Manipur University, M Malemnganba of Kha Manipur College, M Robinson of Thoubal College, P Mahek of NB College, L Brajamani Sharma of MU, T Niraj of NB College.

Rhythmic Yogasana: Shivananda Thiyam of NB College.

The selected players should report to the office of Assistant Director of Sports, MU at Dr Kamal Indoor Hall of the Manipur University on December 5 at 11 am with full kits for further details and coaching, said an office order issued to this effect.
