8th Y Rashmani Memorial Invitation U-15 Boys 7-A Side Hockey tournament begins

Imphal, February 02 2020: The 8th edition of the Yumnam Rashmani Memorial Invitation U-15 Boys 7-A Side Hockey tournament organised by YCCIC, Kontha Ahallup kicked off today at YCCIC's ground.

The opening match (Pool A) of the tournament saw hosts notch up an emphatic 15-0 victory against SEYO as W Rohit and Sh Bidyacharan shone with 4 goals apiece.

Sh Bidyacharan Sharma converted a penalty corner to open up the account in the opening minute before L Pritam converted another PC two minutes latter.

W Rohit then carried forward the onslaught scoring twice in quick succession (6', 8') and I Abisana fetched another to make it 5-0 till the first quarter.

Rtishi Y (17') and Sh Bidyacharan (29') then added a goal each in the second quarter extending the lead to 7-0 .

W Rojit (31'), Rtishi Y (37') and K Rahul (44') managed a goal each in the third quarter as Sh Bidyacharan chipped in twice (39', 41') while Rtishi Y (47'), S Rishi (51') and W Rohit (54') netted a goal each to hand YCCIC a comfortable 15-0 win.
