PMT, RFU, SMT, JSYC, SMT secure victories in KFA's Open Night Tourney

Kangpokpi, October 31 2021: Paothong Memorial Team (PMT) secured an easy 3-0 win over SAYO Satang Area in yesterday's opening match of the KFA's Open Night Tournament being underway at D Phaihel ground, Kangpokpi.

PMT dominated the game from the word go and it were Kamminthang (5'), Thangboi (31') and Haominlal (41') who did the scoring for team.

While D Phaihel Youth Club had a 1-1 draw with Songjang Pakang, 3 Brothers Memorial Team played out a goalless draw with Chalbung Junior.

Mangminlal (9') scored for D Phaihel YC and Lallenthang (44') scored for Songjang Pakang.

In another match, RFU Kangpokpi earned a 2-0 win over Pholva FC to book a berth in the knockout round as Vumminlen (37') and Lunneihao (40') were on target.

Meanwhile, SMT Haipi thrashed Neo Squad 4-1 thanks to goals by Obed (20'), Thangmawi (40'), Haominthang (54'), and Haolenngam (58') .

Neo Gun (38th) scored for Neo Squad team.

JSYC, after losing a match, made a comeback with 2-1 win over S Changoubung Youth Club.

Seigougin (40'), and Mengminlen (61') scored for JSYC and Lamboisem (62') scored for Changoubung side.

Latter, SMT Pangjang sealed a narrow 1-0 win over Taphou FC in the last match courtesy Khaiminlen's goal in the 34th minute.
