2nd Lamlai Cup Victories for ESU, BSU, Bolero

Imphal, April 30 2016 : ESU, BSU, Bolero registered victories in the ongoing 2nd Lamlai Kendra Village Wise Men's Open 7-A-Side Football Tournament, organised by the FC Lamlai, today at LSIC play ground, Lamlai.

In the first match today, ESU, Tellou clinched a thrilling 2-1 win over STPP-B, Sekta.

Ajay and Sunil struck home the winning goals of ESU in the 23rd and 28th minute respectively while Basanta pulled back a goal for STPP-B in the 40th minute.

Ajay and Ronel of ESU were cautioned during the match.

In another match, BSU, Nongpok Kakching downed YPS, Lamlai by a margin of 4 goals to two.

The winning goals of BSU were scored by Bobby (16th, 22nd), Manisana (12th) and Herrojit (40th).On the Other side, Pasken and Kaba netted a goal each for YPS in the 10th and 48th minute respectively.

In the third match of the day, Bolero, Sekta trounced YYC, Yourabung by 5 goals to two.

A brace each from Bungo (5th, 29th), Bisheswor (20th, 48th) and a strike from Thoi in the 48th minute gave the five winning goals to Bolero, Sekta.

For YYC, Arjun (32nd) and Dijen (38th) scored a goal each.

In the fourth match of the day, STTP-A, Sekta were given a walkover after their opponent UFC, Lamlai did not turn up for the match.
