TTS Marjing team participate at Kimunyong Open Taekwondo C'ships 2019

Imphal, March 30 2019: A 22 member taekwondo team of TTS Marjing, Lamsang including two officials are taking part in the Kimunyong Open Taekwondo Championships, India 2019 which kicked off today at DTRP, Indoor Stadium, Guwahati, Assam under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India.

The team for the tournament organised by Kimunyong Sports Committee India and Indian Zozang Sports Organisation were flagged off by the founder of TTS Marjing, Lamsang's founder Khundrakpam Khaba Meitei following a blessing ceremony on March 27 .

The names of the players who who will be taking part in the kyurogi events which began on March 29 will culminate on March 31 are: Khaidem Wanglen (pee-wee : U-22 kg); Lourembam Hemba (U-24 kg); Laishram Anjel Devi (Sub-Jr, U-22 kg); Kangabam Punshiba (Sub-Jr, U-25 kg); Khaidem Borish (Sub-Jr, U-35 kg); Phandom Bishorchandra (Sub-Jr, U-29 kg); Austin Thingujam (Sub-Jr, U-32 kg); Lourembam Yaiphalembi Chanu (Sub-Jr, U-29 kg); Lourembam Hemba (Sub-Jr, U-24 kg); Yumnam Vicky Singh (Cadet, U-37 kg); Thouna Mangang Sanasam (Cadet, U-45 kg); Salam Norjit (Cadet, U-45 kg); Heishnam Manimohan Singh (Cadet, U-45 kg); Leitanthem Rohit (Cadet, U-49 kg); Huidrom Devajit Singh (Cadet, U-57 kg); Chirom Tanushree Devi (Cadet, U-37 kg); Laishram Newton (Cadet, U-33 kg); Salam Charlie Chanu (Cadet, U-44 kg); Salam Trishul (Jr, U-59 kg); and Naorem Chandrakala Chanu (Jr, U-51 kg) .

The two officials who have accompanied the team are Salam Johny (team coach) and Azmir Hossen (team coach) .
