TbI 3rd Divn League : BYFY on roll, KFC end losing streak

Imphal, December 29 2021: BYFY, Bishnunaha extended their winning run to three in the DF A Thoubal 3rd Division Football League beating UMFC, Moijing by 3-0 goals today as KFC, Kiyam Siphai ended their two game losing streak with a 3-1 beating of MSH, Sapam.

In KFC's 3-1 win, Ng Nongpoknganba hit the opener for in the second minute before Th Bhabaroy doubled the advantage in the 6th minute.

KFC continued to press their rivals despite the 2-goal lead and it was Kh Satish who converted a penalty kick to make it 3-0 in the 14th minute.

Samsom also converted a penalty kick in the 19th minute to help the Sapam team pull back a goal but they failed to exert more pressure on KFC and eventually the latter team walked away with the 3-1 win.

Meanwhile, BYFY earned their third successive win thanks to a double by T Kanta and a single from T Likson.

The Bishnunaha team dominated the earlier proceedings but the Moijing team soaked up pressure until T Kanta found the breakthrough in the 35th minute.

T Likson then extended the lead to 2-0 two minutes later before T Kanta rose again and completed his double in the 44th minute and the 3-0 rout of UMFC.
