ELT, 11 Stars win in BK Trophy

Imphal, January 29 2015 : ELT, Thongju and 11 Stars, Lilong claimed victories in the ongoing ongoing BK Trophy, the 6th State level open tennis ball cricket tournament organised by Young Crickets, Bamon Kamphu at Irilbung High School ground.

In today's pool D match, ETL, Thongju registered a comfortable 87 run victory against Young Cricketers (YC) 1, Bamon Kampu.

Electing to bat first, ETL made 170 run with four wickets down.

In reply YC-1 compiled 87 runs all out in 13 overs.

ETL's Yaima made 57 runs off 27 balls while Prasanta struck 44 of 17.Lincoln also contributed 35 runs off 27.The man of the match title went to Yaima of ETL.

In the seond match of the day, 11 Stars, Lilong claimed a 87 run win against Shyam 11, Singjamei.

11 Stars' Shahdut, Sudhir and Tipu made 38, 34 and 30 runs respectively while Arish took four wickets.

In return, Shyam 11 could make only 50 runs in 10 overs with all men out.

Arish of 11 Stars won the man of the match title.
