Bikram's brace helps LSA FC thrash KFC

Imphal, June 27 2018: S Bikram scored twice for LSA FC, Achanbigei in a league match of the 13th State Level Men's Village Open Football Tournament 2018 to thrash KFC, Konthoujam 5-1 in a very one sided match.

The tournament is being organised by Brighter Club Awang Potsangbam Khullen at its ground and 20 teams clustered into 4 groups are taking part in it.

Both teams started the game cautiously with series of runs and interceptions until S Manimohan of LSA FC found the net and put his team ahead in the 15th minute.

LSA FC were able to double the lead with another strike from L Sankar in the 18th minute before S Bikram opened his account and make it 3-0 in the 27th minute.

The goal fest continued and it was Y James who shone netting another goal for the Achanbigei side to make it 4-0 at the end of the first half.

The second half also seemed to be dull in the beginning but unfancied KFC managed to pull back a single in the 46th minute through a strike from K Johnson before S Bikram made his way for the finisher and his second goal in the 56th minute of the match.
