Imphal, September 26 2019: Bishnupur District Athletic Association (BIDAA) is set to organise " District Athletic Meet" on September 29 at H Nilamani Singh Sports Complex, Ngangkhalawai, Moirang at 7 am.

The meet will see boys and girls of U-14 and U-16 age categories, compete for top honours in various events, said a press release of BIDAA.

The meet will also serve as district team trial selection for the 17th National Inter District Junior Athletic Meet due to be from November 23 to 25 at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, the release added.

U-14 boys and girls will compete in the 100 m race, 600 m race, High Jump, Long Jump and Shot Put events while the U-16 boys and girls will compete in the 100 m race; 200 m race; 400 m race; 10,000 m race, 100 m hurdles; High Jump; Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw and Javelin Throw, the release continued.
