MLV in final of Ibomcha Memorial Volleyball tourney

Imphal, May 26 2019: MLV, Mayai Lambi sealed a place in the final of the 2nd A Ibomcha Memorial Veteran Volleyball Tournament 2019 organised by Loitang Leikinthabi Youth Club after beating NYVA, Naorem but the second semifinal match was not completed today due to bad light.

In the first semi-final match, MLV faced a stiff challenge from NYVA and even conceded the second set before coming back and sealed the game 25-21, 25-27, 25-20, 25-7 .

The second semi-final match between LLYC, Loitang Leikinthabi and DVA was a closely fought match as the game progressed 18-25, 25-18, 25-22, 17-25 before the match was put on hold during the deciding set (DVA leading 7-9) owing to bad light.
