PHAM fetes Olympian Nilakanta

Imphal, August 25 2024: Posterior Hockey Academy Manipur (PHAM) today felicitated Hockey Olympian Shanglakpam Nilakanta Sharma in a function held today at PHAM office at Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai.

Notably, the Tokyo Games hockey bronze medallist was part of the Indian contingent at the Paris Games as an alternate player.

PHAM president Ng Thaba Leima and other functionaries including I Nandeshor and N Rameshwar presided the felicitation programme which was also attended by Nilakanta's grassroots level coach and PHAM's managing committee member-N Chandikumar, said PHAM in a press release.

The members present also encouraged the olympian to bring more laurels to the Nation and the State, it added.
