SSU holds TRAU draw, NEROCA wins at 7th MSL

Imphal, September 22 2012:
A confident TRAU, Kwakeithel was held in a 2-2 draw by SSU, Singjamei in today;s first match of the ongoing 7th Manipur State League organised by the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.
The match began with high notes among the players of both teams.
As the referee blew the first whistle, SSU players put all their efforts in their quest to dominate their rivals.
As a result, they took everyone by surprise by scoring the first goal of the match in the 2nd minute of the match.
The first blood was drawn by Loitongbam Dewan.

After opening their goal account, SSU players were all busy to defend themselves from the attacks of TRAU as well as looking for chances to sneak in possible goals.
As the match advances with each players locking horns with one another, Th Premkumar of TRAU equalised the score position in the 20th minute cheering his teammates.
As the match advanced, TRAU came up with its second goal in the 39th minute which was scored by S Surchand.
Minutes later, Tongbram Raju of SSU equalised the score in the 43rd minute and leveled the scoreline.
In the second half of the match, no players of both teams could scored any further goal and the match concluded in a 2-2 draw.
Later in the second match, NEROCA, Sangakpham beat a goalless ESU, Wangkhei with three goals.
Th Roshan scored two goals of NEROCA in the 11th and 60th minutes while the other goal was scored by L Ibungobi in the 50th minute.
Kh Sanjoy of NEROCA and Md Sohail Shah of ESU were cautioned by the centre referee for playing foul in the 19th and 51st minutes respectively.
