Baichung Bhutia to play against Wellington Phoenix

Imphal, August 21 2012:
International footballer Baichung Bhutia, the owner of United Sikkim Football Club will be playing against Wellington Phoenix FC in the North East Lajong Super Series which will kick off from August 24 in Imphal.
Baichung Bhutia is considered to be the torchbearer of Indian football in the international arena and plays as a striker.
He was the ex-captain of Indian Football Team and became the first Indian footballer to play professional football in Europe when he signed to play for an English club - Bury in
1999 .
He was chosen to make his international debut in the Nehru Cup and was named "1996 Indian Player of the Year.
He owns a club called United Sikkim Football Club which is participating in the Mayol presents North East Lajong super Series happening first time ever in Imphal and Shillong in association with The telegraph between 24th of August 2012 and 1st September 2012 which is Managed and Produced by JPR Events under the guidance of Mr.Sunil Hamal (CEO).
The Event company has scheduled two matches in Imphal with the support of Riransa, Alliance Business Corp., AMFA, FPAI, NSUI, Slazenger, The Classic Hotel and Hueiyen Lanpao, viz.: .
United Sikkim V's Wellington phoenix, on 24th of August at Khuman Lampak Stadium which will supposedly start at 1400 IST and Shillong Lajong V/s Wellington Phoenix on 26th of August 2012 which will also kick off at 1400 IST.
