Imphal West District Football Association confirm teams for district level tournaments

Imphal, July 20 2024: Imphal West District Football Association (IWDFA) is gearing up to organise district level league tournaments for the season 2024-25 very soon.

As per a memorandum issued today by IWDFA, as many as 7 teams will be competing in the Super Division tournament while the 8 teams will be participating in the First Division and Second Division Tournaments respectively.

Remaining affiliated clubs may participate in the Third Division League where a team can field a minimum of five U-18 players, the memorandum read.

It further maintained that all teams should register their players in the CRS well before the commencement of the tournaments.

Notably, SFC (Tera Khuraijam Leikai), KYC (Khurkhul-N), CHIKL (Lilong Chajing), IFC (Lamphel), SKYC (Awang Sekmai), YUC (Irom Meijrao) and SDC (Samurou) will be featuring in the Super Division Tournament.

Teams featuring in the First Division and Second Division Football Tournaments, as per the memorandum, are as follows-

First Division : SCK (Kodompokpi), BMSC (Taobungkhok), YAC (Yaiskul), NC Club (Khonghampat), PAMYAL (Patsoi Part II), Juvenile (Tera), WYC (Malom) and KAN (Kadangband) .

Second Division : SOYO (Sanjenbam, UK Road), ESA (Mayang Imphal), THAU (Thangmeiband), YWC (Langthabal), IUFC (Awang Sekmai), Juvenile (Salam), KALYC (Karam) and MTSU (Malom) .
