Bpr 1st Div League : CRESA cruise to 3-1 win against LYVO

Imphal, January 20 2019: CRESA, Bishnupur eased to 3-1 win against LYVO, Chothe today in a Group A clash of the 5th H Pishak Memorial First Division Football League 2018-19 being organised at Mini Stadium Bishnupur under the aegis of District Sports Association, Bishnupur.

CRESA which were held to a 0-0 draw by LFC, Ngaikhong Khunou in their previous tie bounced back to earn all three points today.

LYVO, Chothe made a good start with Gaingamgoang Kamei scoring the opening goal in the 20th minute under fortuitous circumstance but CRESA got the equaliser without breaking a sweat as Songlienlal netted into his own just two minutes after the first goal.

CRESA then start to take control of the game and it was in the 29th minute that Rabi broke the deadlock and handed his team a 2-1 lead till the break.

It was an end to end affair in the second half but Athang's 46th minute proved vital as CRESA walked away with 3-1 victory.

ELSA, Naransena will face MCK, Kabow Wakching in a Group B league match tomorrow.
