Chalou Cup : Pureiromba FC, NSS and YYC script huge wins

Imphal, February 16 2019: Pureiromba FC, Lamlai outdone Keibi FC 7-4; NSS, Pungdongbam edged past YWSC, Sabungkhok 4-2 and YYC, Yourabung thrashed YLKCC, Tejpur 4-0 in today's league matches of Chalou Cup Soccer Tournament 2019 being organised by Chalou Youth Union Club at Chalou Kanglou Lampak.

ONYC, Oksu edged past BSU, Nongpok Kakching 3 -2 in the last match of the day.

In the Group E league match played at 7 am, Pureiromba FC ran riot from the beginning to notch up a 7-4 win against Keibi FC.

K Bonison (4', 10', 33') and Kh Amarjit (9', 26', 29') of Pureiromba FC shone in the match both scoring thrice and their team-mate L Milanjoy managed a goal in the 7th minute to set up the huge win.

K Sanayaima (5', 31') and O Romton (15', 23') scored twice each for Keibi FC.

O Angousana of Keibi FC was yellow carded in the 22nd minute of the match by the referee.

In the Group F league match which began at 1.30 pm, Biju netted thrice (18', 35', 40') and Poreiton hit a single (25') to give NSS, Pungdongbam a 4-2 win against YSWC, Sabungkhok.

The goals of the losing side were scored by Bikram (14') and Sh Raju (34') .

Meanwhile in the first Group C league match of the day, John hit the opener and the finisher (11', 25') to help YYC, Yourabung thrash YLKCC 4-0.The other two goals of the winning side were scored by Dhana (15') and Chaothoi (17') .

The second Group C league match saw Y Naocha (3'), S Premson (12') and M Mangsha (30') score one goal each to ensure ONYC all three points against BSU whose L Bobby (28') and M Rabichandra (38') could find the net.
