Chandel, November 15 2015: Manipur Terriers Football Team (MTFT) and Ksenpa FC will meet in the final of the 2nd Chandel DC Cup on Nov 16 .

MTFT stormed into the final after emerging victorious in the semi-final match against Chothe United Brothers, Chumbang vis penalty shoot-out after the match ended in a goalless draw during normal time.

MTFT custodian Ibomcha was awarded hero of the match title for his outstanding performance during the match and for saving two penalty kicks that eventually gave his team a 3-2 win.

Meanwhile, Ksenpa FC registered a convincing 5-1 win against Kathumpam FC in another semi-final match.

Ksenpa FC's Thangtinlen alone banged in four winning goals and became the leading top scorer of the tournament with 7 goals.

Bungthot slotted in the fifth winning goal of Ksenpa FC while the lone goal of Kathumpam FC was scored by Mongampha.

The closing ceremony of the tournament will be attended by Chandel Deputy Commissioner Robert Singh Kshetrimayum, Chandel SP N Herojit Meetei and CNPO president W Kanral Anal as chief guest, functional president and guest of honour respectively.
