AMFA forbids MPSC from participating 56th CC Meet

Imphal, December 13 2012:
Following the allege incident of deliberate under performance by players of Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) in a match of the recently concluded 7th Manipur State League, the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has forbid entry of MPSC in the 56th Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial Football TOurnament 2012 (CC Meet) which will begin from December 19 at Mapal Kangjeibung.
An office memorandum of AMFA today quoted "...the Executive Council, in the meeting, had decided to forbid the entry of Manipur Police Sports Club in the Tournament considering the poor performance of the team in the recent times and also disbanding of its players by the Club Management" .
Mention may be made that AMFA in a emergent meeting held on December 11 had discussed the report of the One Man Enquiry Commission and resolved that there were no proof of possible match fixing in the 7th MSL and dropped the charges of match fixing from four clubs.
Meanwhile, AMFA has announced the list of 21 teams who will be playing the 56th CC Meet in addition to the outstation teams and teams qualified from the qualifying rounds.
Managers meeting in connection with the tournament will be held on December 15 at 11 am at AMFA office.
AMFA informed team managers and coaches to attend the meeting without fail.
It also informed to bring samples of team uniforms in th meeting.
In the same time, AMF has appointed 26 officials to conduct the matches of the final round of the 56th CC Meet.
