Imphal, January 13 2019: Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association has announced the names of theplayers in the seniormen's and women's teams which will represent Manipur at the XXII East Zone Senior National Kho-Kho Championship 2019 to be held at Chhatarpur, Odisha from February 1 to 3 under the auspices of EZKKFI.

The players in the men's squad are: Kh Dinesh Singh of BASU, M Bisonath Singh of BASU, L Medhajit of SHGRICS, Sh Amit of SCEASDO, K Kapilkumar of NSU, Md Khurshid Alam of CHMYDA, L Samananda Singh of PYDC, Md Majid Khan of CHMYDA, Th Sadananda of SCEASDO, A Azid Khan of CHMYDA, S Manja Singh of BASU and K Dhananjoy Singh of ASKKA.

Sh Arish Singh of CHMYDA, Md Amar Ali of CHMYDA and Th Johnson Singh of SYA were named in the reserve list of the men's team.

The women players who will represent the State include Nirmala Laishram of BASU, L Ashakiran of SCEASDO, M Monika of RUC, N Usharani of BASU, N Bijiya of BASU, Sajida of CHMYDA, Anjira of CHMYDA, M Thoi Devi of RUC, M Ichan of RUC, Th Premika Devi of PYDC, Th Andhapati of SCEASDO and Baby Karina of CHMYDA.

L Payal of PYDC, M Sarjubala of RYC and M Anju of RYC were also named in the reserve list of the women's team.

A press statement of Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association also directed all the players mentioned above to report along with kits and other requirements to M Manglem Singh, NIS Kho Kho Coach on January 15 by 1 pm at the BASU Ground, Khangabok for intensive training and coaching.
