LBYC overwhelm Tupul FC 4-0 to defend Alpha & Omega Gospel Football Tournament title

Noney, November 12 2021: Defending champions Longmai Bazar Youth Club (LBYC) were yet again crowned champions of the Alpha & Omega Gospel Football Tournament-2021 organised by the Alpha & Omega Sports Ministry Cambodia under the theme "Raising Tomorrow's Champion".

The 11th edition of the tournament kick-started on November 4 and concluded yesterday at Longmai Common Ground, Noney district headquarters peacefully.

The final match was played between LBYC and Tupul FC wherein LBYC emerged victorious by 4-0 goals as Ezra, Denpar, Jangdi and Malring were on target.

LBYC's Jangdi was adjudged best player of the tournament while his compatriot Donlem was named best goalkeeper.

Ezra of LBYC and Crispin of Forever FC, on the other hand, shared the top scorer award with 9 goals to their name.

Man of the final match accolades, however, went to Ringir of Tupul FC.

The valedictory function of the tournament was graced by Napoleon Rongmei, DFO Noney; Kenan Kamei, former chairman, RNCM; Adai Dangmei, chairman, Villages Council Longmai Area; Sangailung Gangmei, chairman Mission Board RNBA and Theophilus Gangmei, Missionary to Cambodia.
