Imphal, May 12 2017: Secretariat pipped PHED by 2-0 in the team event summit clash of the 25th Manipur Civil Service Tennis 2017 being held at Officers' Club complex, Lamphelpat today.

T Pamei of Secretariat beat H Ibotombi of PHED by 7-5, 6-1 while Y Azad Khan of Secretariat defeated N Dilip of PHED by 6-4, 6-2 .

In the open doubles quarter final, H Deleep and Inaotombi pair beat Chingthang and Nalendra duo while Y Azad Khan and PK Singh pair pipped O Nabakishore and T Pamei pair by 6-4, 6-1 .

In the open singles pre-quarter final, Ranjit beat O Nabakishore by 6-3, 7-5 while T Pamei overwhelmed Chingthangkhomba by 6-1, 6-0 .

N Dilip downed L Sarat by 6-4, 6-2 while Y Ibotombi, who was scheduled to pit against Gitaranjan got a walk-over .

In a quarter-final match, N Kangjamba whipped Y Ibotombi by 6-2, 6-1 .
