Stage set for quarterfinals of YDLA State level village open volleyball

Imphal, February 12 2022: The quarter final line up of the 1st State Level Village Open Volleyball Tournament 2022 organised by the Young Development Library Cum Association (YDLA), Kamong since February 10 at its court has been completed today.

YDLA-A will be playing LLYC in the first quarter final match tomorrow from 7.30 am before NYVA play HVA, KYLSC play UNT and MSWC play SDC in the other quarter final clashes of the 12 team competition which kicked off on February 10 .

UNT made it to the last 8 stage beating PRSC, Pourabi in straight sets today (25-16, 25-19, 25-21) before SDC suffered a 19-25, 20-25, 16-25 loss to LEWA, Lamding. SDC still managed to book a quarter final berth along with KYLSC, Kachikhul who sealed a 25-11, 28-26, 25-14 win over LEWA yesterday.

NYVA in the meantime finished Group winners beating LLYC 25-17, 25-20, 25-21 in the last group stage match for the two of two wins.

In today's fourth league round match, MSWC defeated PRSC 25-16, 25-17, 25-19 to emerge group winners.

MSWC, Maibam had carved out a 25-22, 14-25, 25-23, 17-25, 18-16 win over UNT, Top Siphai yesterday.

HVA, Heigrujam finished Group A runners up with a 3-1 sets victory (25-23, 25-17, 25-27, 25-20) win over YDC, Khoirom today in the last league match of the tournament.

YDLA-A finished group winners yesterday with a 25-15, 25-16, 25-12 win over YDC after beating HVA by 3-2 sets in the opening match on February 10 .
