ADC Chandel Trophy : Chumbang FC thrash Lambung YCC 6-1

Imphal, December 11 2019: Chumbang FC crushed Lambung YCC by 6-1 goals riding on doubles by Ahong and Rengshem while Ziontlang FC played out a 2-2 draw with Liwa Sarei YC in today's matches of the ADC Chandel Trophy 1st Division Football League being organised by District Sports Association Chandel at Liwa Sarei Playground.

In the first match of the day, Chumbang FC dominated the game right from the onset and led the first half 3-1 before pumping in three more goals in the second half.

Ahrapa opened up the account in the 15th minute before Neingir and Ahong netted a goal apiece in the 21st and 27th minute respectively to make it 3-0 .

Lambung YCC pulled back a goal in the 29th minute through Moshimla in the 29th minute but a brace by Rengshem hit a brace (62', 73') helped Chumbang FC wrapped up the game 6-1 .

Meanwhile in another fixture, Liwa Sarei YC rallied back to hold Ziontlang FC in a 2-2 draw.

Chungam (8') hit the opener for Liwa Sarei YC in the 8th minute of the match but Ziontlang FC fought back with Michel leading up at the front and scored twice (17', 23') to help his team overturned the lead.

After leading the first half 2-1, Ziontlang lose ground in the second half before Samuel (56') helped Liwa Sarei rescue a point.
