MU to conduct team trials for Inter University tournaments

Imphal, December 10 2021: The Department of Sports, Manipur University is set to conduct trial selections for 7 disciplines for Inter University Tournaments to be held across India in the latter of this month and during January next year.

In this regard, the Assistant Director of Sports, MU notified that trials for MU badminton men's and women's teams will be conducted on December 14 at MU Sports Complex.

Trial for men's and women's chess teams and men's football team will be conducted on December 15 at the same venue while trials for men's and women's team for both basketball and wrestling will be conducted on December 16.Men's and women's teams for Table Tennis and Athletics, on the other hand, have been fixed on December 18, the notification read.

Athletes or students may submit their names for trial till a day prior to their respective trial dates, it said while informing all institutions affiliated to Manipur University to submit names of maximum of 5 players each to take part in the trial selection of the Manipur University teams along with HSLC Examination certificate, 10+2 Exam certificate, Reading certificate, latest Identity Card issued by the College, Mark Sheet for passing the last Examination and 2 recent passport size photographs.
